This cute braided hairstyle is especially on trend this spring and summer season !'ve seen a lot of girls sporting it, espeically on TV Shows like America's Next Top Model. It's actually a lot easier to do than you would think ! There are many variaions of hairstyles you can do with this braid. Keep on reading for my super simple and easy to follow steps on how to get your Angel Wing Braided Bangs.
Step 1
Part your hair by seperating the bangs. Secure the remaining hair back into a low bun.
Step 2
Take a small top section of bangs and seperate it into three different strands. Cross the Face strand under the middle, then the Back strand under the middle. (Like a basic Dutch Braid/Inverted French Braid)
Step 3
Take a small veritical section of the bangs with your thumb and add it to the Back strand. Cross the Face strand under the middle, then the Back strand under the middle (repeat this step till the braid is finished by the ear).
Step 4
Now braid regularly with the remaining hair. Pin it behind the ear. You could also let the hair down and pin the end of the braid over the hair.
Send me pictures on my Facebook or Twitter if you decide to give this a try ! I'd love to see :)
If you have always dreamed of becoming a Victoria's Secret model (like me... hehe xD) I am here to show you how ! I was inspired by the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show of 2011. I absolutely loved the hair and makeup that the models sported so beautifully down the runway. The look is all about big messy waves, winged eyeliner, and bronzed out cheeks. Which always happens to be on trend regardless of the season. I already have a tutorial video uploaded on my Youtube Beauty Channel if you would like to check that out : Click Here. Otherwise, keep on reading for your how-to guide on getting the Victoria's Secret Model Look !
Not too long ago I went to a new salon for a new look ! I wanted something fresh, something I haven't done before. I decided to cut off about 4 inches. And believe it or not, I wasn't scared at all ! I was so ready for a change. I asked for the stylist to change my original V-cut hair into a straight across cut. Now that I have the straight across cut, it gives me much more volume and bounce ! I kept my side bangs length and she angled my hair from the chin down. I do have a few longer layers as well. I asked the colorist to "warm up" my look. I have no idea what color she ended up using but I love the way it turned out ! Its like a nice warm brown. Here are the rest of the pictures from my little photoshoot :) Enjoy !
I cannot tell you how incredibly unlucky I have been this past week ! I fell ill with a stomach flu for a few days and just recently got over it ! On sunday, my car broke down. Apparently, it had been filled up with 12 gallons of water instead of gas at a gas station ! Completely flabergasted by this, I got the car fixed at a local repair shop and immediatly drove back to school for classes. The next day I found out I had more car troubles ! At the moment I am also trying to juggle school with final art projects, exams, and papers and attempting to record videos on my Youtube Channel. Unfortunately, I seem to not be having enough time..despite my amazing luck. Hopefully I can have one up soon. I just have a lot on my plate !
I wanted to quickly share with you my newest favorites from the past two weeks. In the picture above, you can see my little set up I have on a bureau in my room. I decorated it with some of my favorite magazines: Instyle, Glamour, Seventeen (has great ideas for hair tuts!), New Beauty, etc. To the left is my most favorite pair of heels: the classic black leather pump from JustAnnaShoes. I also have some new nailpolishes from Essie, my favorite handlotions/perfumes, and most importantly... my new Chanel Look-Alike Handbag I found at TJMAXX !! Keep reading for more :)

Weekly Favorites Hello everyone ! Im so excited to be posting another Weekly Favorites. These are probably my most favorite because I get to share little pieces of what I love whether it be beauty, fashion, or hair products. I have really been obsessing over Lauren Conrad's Collection at Kohls. Currently it is still on sale and Kohls always has great coupons to use with your purchase. I went in store to try these things on first that you will see in this post to get a feel of what my size was. A few days later I realized I wanted more things from her collection that I couldnt find in store ! So I ended up purchasing other pieces online which I will share with you in the Weekly Favorites post next week !
As for the pieces shown above, the shirt is called the Pleated Camisole. Online, it described the color as "Pink Tint." However, the color is more cream in real life (which is what I wanted !). I would love to pair this up with a trendy blazer in any color ! The way it flows is absolutely beautiful for any body type whether you have a bigger/smaller chest or a bigger/smaller waist line.
The shorts are called the Pleated Faux Leather Shorts. These are literally the most amazing shorts I have ever worn. They are incredibly comfortable and I can sense they will be really durable. The material is great because its faux and it actually feel/looks like its incredibly expensive but it's not ! They do run a bit small ( I am a size 4 usually but had to get a 6) I suggest trying some of these things on first in store before purchasing. Keep reading for more of my favorites :)

I absolutely love this handbag for the fall, it is such a beautiful taupe color. The style is great for school since it has a longer strap for your shoulder. It's also pretty spacious inside for books :) Keep reading to see more of my weekly favorites !
Nina Dobrev Emmy 2011 Look For those of you who saw the Emmy's this year, you know that Nina Dobrev was a sure show stopper in her beautiful red gown. I decided to recreate this look on my Youtube Beauty Channel so that anyone can do it themselves. Start out with a cat smokey eye that wings outwards using darker colors. Add a touch of a nudy-pink shimmery lip, peach blush, and a flawless face. To finish off the look, I curled my hair in layers and kept it all swept to one side with a deep part. Click here to watch the video or read more to see how it is done !
Weekly Favorites Hope you all have had a great week so far ! The weekend is almost here :) I wanted to share my usual weekly favorites with you again. Before I forget, I wanted to mention that I have a $500 gift card giveaway to Target going on right now for one lucky winner. You can enter by watching my video to find out all the rules :) Click Here to see it. Unforunately, Youtube has had some sort of glitch so not many of my subscribers are aware I uploaded a video.
The picture above shows two of my top favorites from this week. The story about this beauitful BCBG Maxazria small purse is that I actually didn't get it when I first saw it. About a few weeks ago, I went to the mall on a date with Matt and it really caught my eye. The fact that such a small purse was almost $50 made me come to the conclusion of not buying it-- Of course, Matt agreed.
Almost every day after that, I was pleading Matt to take me back to get it before someone else could ! Just a few days ago, I went back to see if it was still there, and it was ! It was the last one left. I feel so lucky I got it. It's almost like it was meant for me :) The only other place I saw it (but it was in black) was on Hautelook a few days ago when they were having a BCBG sale on Handbags. The shoes are from Lulu's by Anne Michelle. Keep reading for more of my favorites!
Weekly Favorites Hey everyone ! It's about time for another Weekly Favorites post. I hope all of you are enjoying reading them as much as I am making them :) I feel so much more connected to you all when I do this. To start, I get my Nikon D3100 DSLR camera. Then I look around my room for what's laying out that I have been constantly using.. or eating throughout the week. I would love for you all to join me in this as well ! Post a comment below with your blog link if you do :) I'd love to read it and possibly try new things.
As for my first two weeks of school, they have been going okay. I was a bit flustered because I was trying to get my classes together. I was waitlisted on a class I really needed in order to graduate. Funny thing is, that class turned out to be the one that I wanted to take most. I'm happy to say I was able to get into the class thanks to my awesome teacher. He has a great sense of humour and is so accepting of different artistic styles. The class is called Printmaking: Woodcut and Relief. I can't wait to show you my art work once its finished :) Stay tuned ! Thanks again for reading, don't forget to follow my blog, and "like" my Facebook Page for updates !
